With License Statistics version 6.24, we’ve redesigned license server and feature removal, updated MySQL support, added support for a new license manager, made improvements to report consistency, and more. Read on to find out what’s new in License Statistics v6.24.
New Features
The new features in this release are described below.
Redesigned removal of license servers and features
In this release, we’ve redesigned the removal of license servers and features. Highlights of this redesign include:
- The license server removal process now occurs asynchronously in the background, and will continue to run even if the connection is disrupted (for example, if License Statistics is stopped or the host is restarted).
- The license server removal is indicated by a “Deleting” status in the General Information area of the License Server page.
- During removal of the license server, its features will also be shown with a “Deleting” status in the General Information area of applicable reports.
Updated MySQL support
This release adds support for MySQL v8.4, ensuring that License Statistics is keeping up with the latest vendor updates to MySQL.
New license manager support
In response to the growing needs of our customers, we’ve added support for importing CimLM log files to this release.
Introduced SBOM (Software Bill of Materials) policy
X-Formation now provides a Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) policy.
The SBOM policy lists all License Statistics libraries and their dependencies for all software components, including license type and version. This information helps you to determine any library vulnerabilities.

Enhancements
In addition to the new features detailed above, significant enhancements for this release include:
- Improved consistency of report columns
- Changed “LDAP” labels throughout the UI to the generic “User Directory” label
- Added Email Address field for user account definitions
- Added Email field to User Details and General Information panel
- Added ability to override email and description imported from a User Directory
- Added ID columns to reservation grids
